Applications are reviewed by a selection team, and applicants are usually notified of a decision within about a week. This is a qualification-based program, not an automatic discount, so a clear product description and growth context strengthen an application.

AI and ML startups running model training or LLM inference can tap Cloud GPU instances (L40S for cost-efficient mid-sized models, H100/H200 for the heaviest workloads) alongside AI Notebooks, Training, Deploy, and AI Endpoints - and the GPU and Metal lines were excluded from 2026 price increases.

SaaS teams building web applications benefit from pay-as-you-go compute, Managed Kubernetes with a free control plane, and managed PostgreSQL or MySQL, with no egress fees keeping bills predictable as traffic grows.

Data-intensive and analytics products can combine object and block storage with managed Kafka, ClickHouse, and OpenSearch to build pipelines without operating the underlying infrastructure.
